I love all the little 12-year-olds saying "booo this is a ripoff of GH booo", not knowing that DDR came first (And before they were born)

This wouldn't be bad if the music wasn't horrible. Really. I played it for a few notes, thought it was pretty fun, but I just couldn't stand the horrid "My parents won't let me go to prom >:(" music.

Better than people think

Seriously, what's with all the flak this game is taking? Whatever.

I really, really liked the improvements you made upon the first two. They made the game much more fun. However, I would say you should allow us to do a level over if we missed any enemies, or have an "enemies remaining" counter, or something. I want to get the special ending or whatever it is.

Excellent

Did a really good job of capturing the feeling of being a rat blasting his way through a maze in search of cheese. The speed was perfect, and the music accentuated the atmosphere (the default music was better in terms of frenzy...ness). The second maze was a VAST improvement over the original. Overall a good game, but you still haven't fixed the time up bug when you get to the maximum speed zone.

pixeljamgames responds:

I think i fixed the bug... ill upload it tomorrow, but it takes a few days for it to take effect on NG sometimes. Version 1.2 should be the fix.

Very good for a beta

Fix up the graphics and the sound (maybe add some non-intrusive music) and you've really got something going here. I played it for 10 levels as-is.

Suggestions:

-Expand the playing field by about 2x, then add several more red/black balls to make it more frantic and congested

-Make different types of mothership, like fast ones or ones that won't crash unless you build up enough momentum

-I really liked the way you could manipulate the red balls into a slingshot effect - maybe make powerups that can only be gotten by breaking a shell using the red balls

Puzzlemaker responds:

I like your powerup idea; using red balls to break the shells to get to the powerup... Hmm

Great game, with some flaws

The main and biggest problem was that the game wasn't as puzzle-oriented as the first one. It was more sensationalistic, with the "shocking" storyline and the amped-up graphics. However, there were still some elements of puzzle in there, and it took me a good minute to figure some of them out.

FOR THOSE OF YOU STUCK AT THE LAST PART (not a spoiler):
There's a bug and another of what should be considered a bug. The first bug is that the kitchen scenes look the same. Just swap them if you know you got the rest right but it says you're wrong.

The second is that, for some reason, scenes 4 and 5 are swapped. 4 on the TV is 5 otherwise, and vice versa. So do what you need to do, and then switch them with each other.

Classic, classy, and ... good

This is seriously one of the best games on Newgrounds I've played, except for one thing: it's too shallow. I had a couple ideas that you may or may not care about for (if you even decide to make it) the sequel.

One main problem is that, even though the upgrade system is really cool, it's way too linear. It would be awesome if there was a system to choose between adding shielding, offense, speed, etc at the expense of bubbles. For example, when my tri-cannon was replaced with the super cannon + normal cannon, I found myself actually weaker to an extent. The tri-cannon nets you more bubbles AND the bullets are faster. If you could choose between the two (or maybe even others) that would really improve replayability.

Another thing is, like somebody else suggested, bosses. Random cells should have a boss, ex. a giant thing that spawns other enemies. A minimap that shows which cells have been cleared and what cell you're in (just a basic X/Y coordinate) and a save feature (simply saves your current cell and the cleared status of every cell in a text file or whatever, as well as how many bubbles you have) would also REALLY improve the game.

Even without all these things, the game already deserves a 4/5. And believe me, I'm not one of those people who just fives everything like an ass-kisser; I genuinely enjoyed the game. Spent about an hour playing it.

Pretty good

While at its core it's just another side-scroller, the addition of rage and health regen is pretty neat. It was fun how, as you gained rage, your fundamental playing style would become slightly altered. The voice acting (what little there was) wasn't bad, though until you learn what all the moves are it's kind of confusing.

It also inspired me to make a Fury Warrior on WoW. Level 9 right now, woo.

Myroid responds:

Most of the sounds in the game were taken from Warcraft games. The voice acting is no exception. :P

Too preachy and biased

The idea itself was actually pretty good. It was like playing Sim Farm or something, but more simple. The problem with the game is that you made it like farming on an asteroid heading toward a planet full of chainsaw zombies. Every ten seconds it was like "Oh no! Count Dracula caught wind of your success and murdered your entire family! Also, for some reason, he took all your money and crops." Is it really realistic for the same person (Gyasi, in my case) to die 3 times, thereby reducing my annual yield to 63%? I don't think zombie africans are part of the 3rd world farming hardship.

Basically, it needs a LOT less impossible occurances (or at least, less severe ones) and it would be a pretty damn good game. Nobody likes their entire lives to be at the risk of a random number generator.

Fun but extremely flawed

(Note: I had sound off so it doesn't contribute to what I think of the game)

If this game didn't have any "look at how wacky I am the answer is a random word" questions this would definately be top 50 material. I enjoyed the questions that required logic, out of the box thinking, and...other things. But really, the questions that literally required you to guess just ruined the whole thing for me.

Surprisingly Good

-The graphics could have used some sharpening
-The charging up was kind of clumsy
-Breaking a rock caused lots of slowdown
-Pressing shift over and over caused recursive acceleration allowing you to blast right through the walls
-It's a beta, so it's missing tons of stuff (you said that it would, but still)
-The combo system was really difficult
+The sound was VERY fitting, I liked the Negative Barrier or whatever sound
+Flying was smooth and fun
+The idea was fresh
+Other...plusses

This could be one HELL of a great game when it goes gold. Console quality for sure if you put some time into it with upgrades and fixes and whatnot.

KynetiK-27 responds:

TY very much ^_^

The rock slowdown and teleport spam bugs have been fixed and uploaded, just waiting on newgrounds to upload it, due to its success they must do it by hand.
