Pretty average

I don't know how, but as soon as I read the title I knew there was going to be a CD-I reference.

Anyway, the voice acting was pretty (read: very) amateurish. It had the Seth Green curse, where every voice sounded like a tiny variation of each other. Hire another voice actor.

The animation was decent, but used too many stretchings and whatnot. Lasers don't physically move downwards, no matter how magic they are.

Besides that, it wasn't too bad. The voice acting kind of killed a lot of the humor for me, but I think if the presentation was amped up a bit this could become a good series.

Well that was...bizarre

While I personally hate most music videos, I did like this one, probably because it's not "oh dude listen to this great johnny cash song I heard". Or whatever.

The graphics were great, especially because you 8-bitted them in MSPaint. I liked the changing colors. Yes.

The style...well, it was stylish.

The song was catchy, but got a little too complicated by the end. Too many instruments spoils the broth...of MUSIC.

In short, it was quite good. The only things I would improve on are repitition (especially with the mouth part) and...there you go.

Surprisingly good

The animation was pretty professional, there were actually jokes and a plot twist, and the art style was original. That's more than almost all of the "top 50" flashes can say for themselves. Bravo!

One of few flashes deserving praise

Though the whole thing reeked of "I just watched Bruce Almighty and now it's time for me to modify the plot slightly", I greatly appreciate the amount of detail put into this flash. The whole "hidden items" thing was neat until I click that sign to flame-whatevers, ruining all my progress. All in all a good flash, far better than most of the ones I see on the top 50.

Hey it's that joke I heard six years ago

The presentation was very good for a flash. The voices were, while not hollywood-quality, good, the music was decent, the graphics were great, etc etc. The problem? Well, there are two related problems.

First, you told the same jokes over and over again. It was like going back to 2001 and watching The Colbert Report.

Second, the jokes (that were already lacking) were told poorly. You were lacking in fine-tunings such as pauses, reactions, etc. One of the most glaring ones were as follows:
Bush: "...Then can I run for a third term?"
Whoever the other guy was: "You're kind of slow, aren't you?"

The response killed the entire joke. You may notice that in most if not all cartoons (GOOD cartoons), stupid comments by the stock "stupid" character are usually ignored by the other characters. Responding to every stupid comment with "lol that was so stupid" is called stepping on lines, and is frowned upon in the etc etc

In short, study comedic writing or something and you could really go somewhere. Also get new jokes.

More like Logan Shitehurst

That song seriously made me want to kill myself. It's so awful. Logan Whitehurst has a worse voice than if you take a swarm of bees, set them on fire, then eat all those bees and start singing.

The movie itself was decent, nothing special. Just another Mario music video. Very good sprite manipulation though.

Definately not as good as DBZ In a Nutshell

The only real problem is that you didn't go as fast as DBZ In a Nutshell. A lot of the jokes dragged on for too long. Namely the first Codec transmission and the black guy shitting. The facial expressions are REALLY overexaggerated too. Exaggeration is good, but not to that degree.

Predictable

Before I started the movie I thought to myself, "Maybe this isn't a bunch of ancient celebrities and historical figures put into a trash compactor." I was wrong.

HELLO

I highly suggest we ban this person in accordance to recent events apparently. Is that what he wants? I'm not sure.

By the way, where'd you get the Boom Boom Dollar remix? It's faster and more Bonzi Buddy-intensive then the normal one. Smashing!

Looks familiar

Ah, another noir flash by a member of the United Kingdom. This makes somewhere around 30, I think. Newgrounds is a black hole for flashes like these, and oddly enough, nobody ever gets sick of them.

Graphics: Two problems. First off, Emmille. Her eyes were awful. Not "noir" awful, they just sucked. Drawing in an original and creepy way is definately not your style. Second off, the shades of black. They work, but only to an extent. Using only a greyscale range of colors limits your drawing capabilities while only slightly enhancing the mood. Next time, try darker COLORS, such as dark red, dark blue, or anything in the "dark" classification. Besides this dreadful problem, the drawing style was solid and fitting.

Style: A noir flash by a British person. There are so many of these Newgrounds has made a collection of them. -1 point

Sound: Sub-par. The narrator was good at his job, but you clearly did no more than 3 takes of each line. More fine-tuning would have saved it. -1 point

Humor: Being sick of the "wit and charm" of the British has certainly parked this flash at a solid zero in the humor department. Leave it to Monty Python and the BBC. -1 point

Interest: The flash definately seemed to drag on for a long, long time. If you had sped it up just a titch, I wouldn't have gotten sleepy waiting for the end. But alas, I did, and for this... -1 point
